The Principal of Business and Finance (PBF) is a key senior leadership team member, reporting to the School Director. As the “de facto” chief financial officer, this role ensures sound financial planning, financial sustainability, and strategic growth, fostering a compliant and transparent financial environment. The PBF provides strategic counsel to the Director, Principals, ensuring the efficient execution of the financial plan aligned with the school’s mission and vision.

The PBF is responsible for overseeing all financial strategies, budget management, and investment planning for LISA. This includes financial planning, risk management, cash flow management, cost performance management information and financial reporting. Additionally, the role serves as the primary liaison for key governance committees, specifically Finance.
This includes implementing financial strategies to sustain and enhance the school’s value proposition.

The Director of Business and Operations will build strong relationships across support staff teams to maximize organizational potential in alignment with the school’s mission.

They will demonstrate adept problem-solving, empathetic listening, decisive leadership, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
